Also, they’ve said that the “attempted ordination of a woman” has now been added to the list of “delicta graviora,” or most serious crimes in church law, alongside the sexual abuse of minors. Many have been deeply hurt by the Vatican's statement due to its inadequate response to sexual abuse of children and its oppression of women.  Join us at the Center of Survivors (1077 S Newstead) for an opportunity for us to process our feelings about this state-ment, as well as a chance to gather with others who are interested in further action. Aug 12 (7 pm): Mass for Healing at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta parish, 1050 Smith Ave., Ferguson, MO. During the celebration, Fr. Rosy and prayer teams will pray over everyone who seeks healing.  While on earth, Jesus taught, healed and delivered and he commissioned all the baptized to do the same.  This practice of “laying on of hands” has been used throughout the church’s history. Nov 5-7: 2010 Call To Action Conference, entitled Faithful Prophets: God Alive in Every Generation, is in Mil-waukee and is now open for registration. Early bird rates are available till July 15th.
