Just Faith consists of eleven parish adults, gathering weekly to grow in our relationship with God. We educate and expose ourselves to various social justice issues through readings, video and activities.  To connect our exper-ience with all of you, we’ll include in future bulletins a brief passage (click here) from one of our readings and a question to think about and discuss. We hope you enjoy them!
Project COPE (Congregation & Offender Partnership Enterprise), a not-for-profit, faith-based organization that provides support to recently released ex-offenders, needs 3 - 5 new members for our St. Cronan team to provide a broad spectrum of expertise to assist our partner. Those who’ve spent significant time in prison need many differ-ent kinds of support to make a successful transition to the community. If interested, or if you have questions, con-tact Marcy Soda at (msoda@swbell.net, 314-727-2440).
Granola bars for Haiti, made by St. Cronan’s youth. To help: Donate ingredients (old-fashioned oatmeal, dry-roasted peanuts, coconut, wheat germ, powdered milk, honey, brown sugar, raisins, chopped apricots, etc.) into a box at church’s back, OR Make some (recipe at back of church, or contact Judy Gallagher at 314-652-0826 or judithmgalllagher@gmail.com) for a copy), OR Donate small toiletries (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc) at back of church, OR Write a check to St. Cronan’s, with memo “Haiti Project,” and place in the collection basket.

Upcoming
Mar 7 (9 am): St. Cronan’s St. Vincent DePaul Meeting will be held in the Parish Center’s Hospitality room.
Mar 10, Mar 24 (7 pm): Lenten Vespers Services.
Mar 14 (after 10 am mass): Issues and Inspiration: in the parish center’s upstairs "auditorium." The theme, Water, We Can't Live Without It, is showcased in the film, Flow, which reveals the world's dependence on this Godly gift that’s increasingly controlled by governments and corporations. It begs the question "Can Anyone Own Water?," and also gives us a look at the people and institutions providing practical solutions to the water crisis and those developing new technologies, which are fast becoming blueprints for a successful global and economic turnaround. A discussion will follow the film. Sandwiches and water (of course) will be provided. Please sign up in the back of church.
Mar 17 (3 pm): The Catholic Employment Network for St. Cronan, St. Margaret of Scotland and Catholic Chari-ties Midtown Center will hold its next meeting at Midtown Center. Anyone looking for great job leads, network-ing opportunities and support in their job search should attend. Call 314-534-1180 for more information.
